Then the leaner presents the case to the teacher and the patient.
Engage the learner and patient in discussing
- What information is missing?
- What decisions need to be made?
Encourage the patient to act as teacher.
Concurrent teaching of the patient and learner is possible here.
It may be appropriate to repeat parts of the examination so the learner can compare their actions with those of the teacher.
